    How to visit

These are working farms and family shops. A few habits make the trip go well for everyone. More on visiting

    1. Skip Sundays

Most are closed. Plan your drive for Monday to Saturday.

    2. Bring cash

Many don’t take cards. Small bills help at an honor-box stand.

    3. Leave a message

The number may ring a shared phone shanty. Leave your name and number and expect a callback.

    4. Call ahead

Hours follow the season and the work. What was open in June may be shut in January.

    5. Ask before photos

Many prefer not to be photographed. Ask first, and leave people out of the frame.

    Is this your farm?

You didn’t ask to be listed, so you get the final say. We’ll correct your hours, add what you sell, or take the listing down. It’s free, and it always will be.
